Our new range of handmade pottery coffee mugs have been crafted by Ceri MacEwan, a young potter based in Perth. We loved her pottery mugs so much (they fit the bill for that steaming hot mug of morning coffee), we decided to stock them in our online shop.
Ceri’s coffee mugs are hand thrown on the potters wheel and fired in Ceri’s little kiln to around 1200°C. This process means that this piece is food safe and dishwasher-safe. She does recommend, however, handwashing to extend the lifetime of the piece, and avoid putting it in the microwave.
The subtle variations in colour, shape, and texture found in handmade pottery mugs make every piece one-of-a-kind, reminding you of the real beauty of variation.
